Dalton Homes

Dalton Homes is a Care Home Construction company operating across the UK, and a regular client of Solid links.

We were asked to look at a project by Dalton Homes where a pumping station was required with a 24-hour storage capacity of 12000 litres below the lowest incoming pipe. The depth of the lowest inlet needed to be 3.58 metres below finished ground level.

As this application was a Care Home, it was important pumps were selected that would allow for objects to be flushed down the drainage system that you wouldn’t ordinarily expect.

The bespoke pump station we designed ended up being 2.5 metre diameter x 6.7 metre deep, fitted with three-phase grinder pumps. We produced a drawing showing our proposal and once Dalton Homes approved the drawing, we sent the design to manufacture.
